SOWLER: John Wayne –  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John “Wayne” Sowler, age 76, at the Ingersoll Hospital on December 28, 2017. Loving husband for 52 years to Dianne (nee Ferguson). Dear father of Christine Sowler (Jim) of Windsor and Laura Sowler-Price (Shaun) of Orangeville. Doting papa to Ben and Max Price. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Jack Sowler and his brother Brian.  He was a devoted teacher for many years in Ingersoll and surrounding area. Wayne was an avid hockey player and developed numerous bonds within the hockey community. Wayne will be deeply missed by family and dear friends.

The family will receive friends and family at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home,  246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll, 519-425-1600, on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A memorial service will take place at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 1 pm.  Cremation has taken place.   If desired, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice.




Passed away peacefully in his sleep with his family by his side on December 26th, 2017.
We say goodbye to a loving son, Brother, and Uncle at the age of 22.
Son of Robert and the late Christina Lussier, brother of Erick and Frank Lussier, brother-in-law of Jaclyn Lussier and uncle to Isaiah Lussier.
Despite defying the odds stacked against him for 22 years Jacob has decided to join his Mother, Opa and Oma and take his well deserved rest.
He will be missed by his family, friends and extended family at Participation House.
His drive and determination will always be an inspiration to us all.
Friends will be received at Crossroads Alliance Church 194552 Regional Road 119 Ingersoll Friday, December 29, 2017 from 1-1:45pm with the funeral service at 2pm with Pastor Nate Wright officiating, with a reception to follow.
Memorial donations may be made to Participation House.

Passed away December 21, 2017 with her Family  by her side.  Predeceased by her husband Douglas Blancher, and her son’s Brad, Christopher, Robert (Betty), Wesley (Edith),  and Vernon (Dianne). Sister of Ernest Alan Guy (Helen).  Mother of  Velma, Douglas (Kathy-1996), Richard (Susanne)  James (Carien), Beverly (Larry), Ronald, William (Sue), Sheryl (Dave). Loved by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and Cousins.                                                                                                                             Cremation has taken place. CRAIG, Daryl R.

CRAIG, Daryl R. – It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our dearly beloved son and friend Daryl Russell Craig at the age of 45.  On December 20, 2017 in a tragic accident Daryl traveled to the Lord and was taken from us too soon.  Daryl is survived by his loving family: parents Mel and Betty Craig (nee MacGregor), his wife and forever friend Paula Alves and Pandie Alves Craig, brother Brad (Shelley) Craig (nee Lampkin), two loving nieces Madelyn and Goddaughter Annabelle.  He will be missed by his daughter Sarah Bruner as well as all of his extended family and friends.  May he rest in peace.  The family will receive friends at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll, 519-425-1600, on Thursday December 28, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. The Memorial Service will take place at St. James Anglican Church, 184 Oxford Street, Ingersoll, on Friday December 29, 2017 at 11am visiting will be held again one hour prior to service time.  Cremation has taken place.  If desired, contributions to the L’Arche Canada Foundation, or the St. James Anglican Church would be appreciated.

ARMSTRONG: Dorothy Marie (Easby)

Peacefully at VON Sakura House, Woodstock on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. Dorothy Armstrong of Beachville at the age of 90. Loving wife for 72 years to the late Harold Martin Armstrong (March 15, 2017). Dear mother of Joanne Champeau and husband Stan of Paris, Judy Cook and husband Jim of Ingersoll, Helen Nichol and husband Lloyd of Beachville, Mark and wife Karen of Woodstock. She will be sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Sister of Barbara Powell, and Teen Dafoe. Predeceased by a grandson Ryan, great grandson Matthew, brothers Bob and Jack and sister Grace. As per Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place A family service will be held in the spring at Beachville Cemetery. Memorial donations to VON Sakura House, Woodstock or the Canadian Cancer Society. (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
