COOPER: Reta Yvonne (Prouse) – gracefully passed away in Ingersoll, surrounded by her family on Saturday January 31, 2015. Cherished wife of the late Reginald Cooper who predeceased her July 29, 1999. She will be missed by her loving daughters Lynne & husband Wayne Smith and Marilyn & husband Carlos Romao all of Ingersoll. Sadly missed by her beloved grandchildren Sherri & Dwayne, Scott & Jayne, Jodi & Graeme, Kara & Arshad, Tyler & Jade. Lovingly remembered by her great grandchildren Brandt, Nash, Hayes, Cooper, Hannah, Ethan, Abigail & Cassius. Elgin United Church on Wednesday February 4, 2015 at 11:00am. Private family Interment will take place Thursday February 5, 2015 in Farringdon Burial Ground, Brantford. deGraaf: Cornelius (Case) Johannes: at the age of 85 years, Case deGraaf of Ingersoll passed away peacefully on January 26th, 2015 after a brief illness. Surrounded by family and friends at University Hospital in London, ON. Case was born on May 12th, 1929 in Alkmaar, Holland where he lived until immigrating to Canada in 1955 with his devoted wife Bep. They embarked on this new journey and their life took many interesting and often unexpected turns; eventually settling in Oxford County in 1967 on his beloved Grandview Farm. Case built a life there that he loved with hard work, great friends and a loving family. Survived by his wife Bep; Children Patrick and wife Deborah, Richard and wife Sandra and RoseMary deGraaf and Jeff Teeple. Grandchildren, Michael and wife Carrie, Danielle, Meghan and partner Thomas, Gillian and partner Carlo, Cameron, Graham, Patricia and partner Steuart, Alyson and Ryan and Alexander. Great Grandchildren Ella, Casen, Jack and Madelyn. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Of Aylmer passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 in his 91st year. He is survived by his wife May; step-sons Bruce and Douglas McPherson; step-grandsons Robert, Tyler and Tanner and great grandchildren Dylin and LeNeysa; several nieces and nephews also two cousins Donald White of BC and Wilson McBeath of Ingersoll. Born and raised in Ingersoll, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Margaret Riley. At Harold’s request cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation and no memorial service. Harold’s wishes are that he be remembered as disappearing into the mists of time when his life was over. Interment later in Chesterfield Cemetery. In her 101st year as the proud matriarch of our family, mother lost the battle with time. Her legacy of being a proud, honest, mother, grandma and friend is being felt by a long list of people. Beloved wife of Elmer (1980). Dear mother of Margaret Pogue (Ray 2012), their children (Denise 1998), Donna, Darryl and Lisa; Don, his children (Karen 2011), Scott and Terri, Larry, Carolyn; Gary and Mary, their children (Amy 1998), James and Kerry, Glenn; Marlene and Brian Travis, their children Brad and Kathy, Sean and Sue. Dorothy felt so blessed to have 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. Grandma was always there for a question or guidance. She was predeceased by her brothers Harry, Clayton, Maurice, Stewart, Don, Verne and sisters Irma and Alma. Survived by her sister Hazel Ferguson. A proud member of the Trinity United Church in Ingersoll, as well as, a long time member of the UCW. A member of the Rebekah Lodge for 79 years and strongly believed the motto. She delivered Meals on Wheels for many years and thoroughly enjoyed the Ingersoll Curling Club continuing to curl into her late 70’s. Mom loved to play cards and enjoyed the Ingersoll Seniors Centre. Services will be held at Trinity United Church, 118 Church St (King Street W.), Ingersoll on Tuesday, January 27. A Rebekah Service at 12:30pm, a celebration of mom’s life at 1:00pm. Open visitation until 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers please support the Trinity United Church Building Fund or The Peace Garden at the Ingersoll District Collegiate Institute. Peacefully with family by her side at Leisureworld on Thursday, January 22, 2015 in her 98th year. Pauline has gone to rejoin her beloved husband Thomas who died in 2009. Dear sister of Eleanor Hornick of London and Ernie Oakley (Mary) of Dorchester. Pauline was predeceased by her five brothers and four sisters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 3 – 4 pm with the funeral service at 4 pm with Reverend Meghan Nicholls of St. James Anglican Church officiating.
