SHRUBSOLE: Ruby Marie (Mills) (Quinn)

Ruby ShrubsolePeacefully with her devoted daughters Jeannine (Quinn) and Joanne (John) Glassford by her side, Ruby passed away on July 26th, 2016 at Arbor Trace Special Care Centre, London, Ontario. Loving and proud grandmother to Lauren (Ian), Lindsay, and Danielle. Proud great-grandmother to Hannah.
Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, and Gary and Marie Caslick. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Quinn (1979) and Floyd Shrubsole (2011). She will be lovingly remembered and held dear in the hearts of her family and friends.
Ruby was born and raised in Tillsonburg, Ontario. She moved to London in 1953. She worked at CIBC, Lawson & Jones, Timberjack, and Gardner Denver before retiring early in 1983.
She moved to Salford, Ontario in 1961 where she lived on the farm until 2007. She and her husband Floyd then moved to Woodstock where they lived until 2011. Ruby loved her family, gardening, and spending time with close friends. She will be lovingly remembered for her kindness, compassion, and generosity. She was extremely proud of her 2 daughters and granddaughters and their accomplishments.
Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street S. Ingersoll, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29th, 2016 at 11am at the funeral home.
Private Family interment at Harris Street Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Skin Cancer Society.

Laurissa Degraw1Tragically on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Laurissa Degraw of Ingersoll in her 21st year. Loved daughter of Aimee Hutt (Scott) and Jason Degraw. Dear sister of Zachary and Lily. Loving granddaughter of Rose and Bob Weir, Maureen Degraw (late Bob), Sharon and Dan McLachlin, Mike and Mary Hutt. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Cremation has taken place. Donations in Laurissa’s memory may be directed to the Mental Health Association- Oxford County. WALKER: Margaret (nee Savage)

Margaret Walker 1At age 97 in Ingersoll on July 21, 2016, Margaret Walker, beloved wife of the late Wilbert (Wib) Walker (DVM) is survived by daughter Lois (John Walker) of Calgary and Jim (Judy Bartram) of Ingersoll. Margaret always put her family first and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters Amy (Jordan Coldham) of Calgary and Ashley (Pier Martin) of Ottawa. She was delighted when her first great grandchild, Alex Coldham, arrived more than two years ago. Margaret Elizabeth Jane Savage was born in Richmond Hill on June 9, 1919 and moved to Ingersoll in 1948 where she was a great support in Wib’s veterinary practice. She was active in both the United and Presbyterian churches and was a staunch supporter of the IODE. She will be remembered always for her smile, her gentle ways and her unspoiled love of small pleasures. Heartfelt thanks to all the positive people who helped make her final years enjoyable – most recently the staff of Secord Trails. Margaret’s goodness will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her. Friends will be received at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 56 Thames St. S., Ingersoll on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 1 – 2pm with funeral service at 2pm. Beloved husband and best friend of 45 years to Evelyn (Blancher) Marriage. Loved father of Sandra Marriage, Cindy Wardrop, and Tammy Marriage. Cherished grandfather of Jeannie, Jordan, Kristopher, Taylor, Carter, and great grandfather to Jax and Keira. Dear brother of Brian (Valerie). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his daughter Louella and son Steven. A private family burial was held at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service will be at a later date. SKINNER: Norma Mary (Elson)

Norma SkinnerWith her family by her side, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 16th, 2016. Norma (Elson) of Dorchester in her 75th year. She is survived by her loving husband, Toby, of 56 years. Cherished mother of Gordon (Sandra), Sandra (Domenic), Stephanie, and Brian (Sharleen). Grandma to six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Fondly remembered aunt to many nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister Frances (Richard). Her love of gardening was evident by her wide variety of tropical plants and gardens. Family and friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held from Sacred Heart Church, 131 Thames Street North, Ingersoll on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10am with longtime family friend Fr. Joseph Devereaux presiding. Interment will be in Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery, Port Hope, ON at 3:30 pm. Memorial donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
