Robert James Spragg (Bob) passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 in his 71st year. He was born on November 7, 1947 in Dorchester, ON and moved in 1964 to Ingersoll at the age of 16. Bob will be missed by his loving wife and best friend of 48 years, Janie (Boll). His sons, Dennis (Sandy) and Don (Denise) and much-loved grandchildren Connor, Cassandra, and Jackson, his sister in law Frances Spragg as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins of all generations.

A long-time resident of Ingersoll and known to everyone, Bob was generous with both his time and spirit. Driving friends and family to appointments, visiting old friends in hospitals, and nursing homes, brightening everyone’s day with a funny story, and sharing his love of life along the way.
He was very proud and grateful to be 38 years sober and helped many others on their difficult journey to sobriety as well.
Bob was a hard-working man, a roofer throughout most of his years and even in retirement continued to collect scrap metal and cans, doing what he loved best, making money from nothing.
Bob loved to ride motorcycles, play cards such as poker, euchre, crib, and travelling to Vegas.
