roseOLDE TYME TAXI Ingersoll, Ontario It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our incomparably dear friend and colleague Gary Rogers on Saturday, May 24, 2014 in his 56th year. Gary’s ever thoughtful ways and enthusiastic courtesy were second to none. He was the definition of kind-hearted. Passengers and friends, all across Ingersoll considered “Mr. Rogers” one of their favourite people. We will miss him beyond measure. Gary is survived by his brother Mike. He was the loving uncle of Annette and Tracy. A celebration of life gathering will be held at the Ingersoll Pipe Band Hall on Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 1-5 pm. Marguerite FentonFENTON: Marguerite (nee Clifford) Peacefully with family by her side at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Fenton (1993). Loving mother of Mack (Beth) of Thamesford, Diane Wallace of Ingersoll, Karen Pittock (Tom) of Burns Lake, B.C. and Marlene Cliffgard (John) of Calgary. Cherished granma of nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ariel Koster, Helen Broadley and Norma Hureau. She was predeceased by her son Wayne, her brothers Jack, Robert, Clinton and her sisters Doreen and Isabel. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11 am with Reverend Mary Dillon of Reynolds Creek United Church officiating. Interment to follow in Putnam Cemetery. Mary McCutcheonAt Ingersoll Hospital on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Mary McCutcheon of Ingersoll, in her 81st year. Daughter of the late James (1958) and Eva (1987) Ruddick. Predeceased by her husband Jack of 49 years (December 31, 2013). Dear sister of Donald and Douglas Ruddick. Predeceased by brother Bobby (1935) and sister Irene (2008). Missed by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Mary enjoyed her winters at Citrus Park in Florida and watching her brothers Doug and Don drive their horses at race tracks throughout Ontario. A celebration of her life will be held at Grand River Raceway in Elora on Monday, August 4th, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard D. (Mort) Fortner. She is survived by her children Clinton (Patsy), Pamela and partner John Beckingham and Peter. Loving grandmother of Ian Thom, Lindsay Van Asseldonk and Randy Fortner. Dear sister of Larry, David and Marlene. A graveside service will be held at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery, Ingersoll on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 3pm with Reverend Meghan Nicholls officiating. ELDER: Kimberley Ann (nee Dale)

KIm ElderIt is with the heaviest of hearts that we inform you of the loss of our dear KIMBERLEY ANN ELDER with her family at her bedside on May 8th at Sakura House in her 52nd year of life. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 34 years, Doug Elder. Cherished mother of Jesse (Laura), Meg (Bob), Kaly (Shane) and Savannah. Treasured grandmother of Jonas, Ella and Brayleigh. She was born and raised in Seaforth and raised her family in Mount Elgin. Daughter of Vern and Marilyn Dale and sister of 4 siblings. She will also be missed by her in laws and her nieces and nephews. Kim enjoyed the simple things in life such as having coffee with friends, knitting, reading, watching “Cops” and having back yard fires. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and above all best friend. She was known to always greet friends every where she went especially at Foodland where she knew her second “family”. Her love affair with Tim Horton’s coffee will always be remembered when we think of her. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at Sakura House, Woodstock for their excellent care and loving support. A gathering will be held at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 10-11 am with a Celebration of Life Service at 11 am.
