A loving and devoted mother to Rena Stencell, Reta Layman and William (Arlene) Julian. Louise was a grandmother to ten children, a great-grandmother to twenty-one children and a great-great grandmother to seven children. She will forever be remembered by her two surviving sisters, Royetta Chard and Kelsie (Ron) Welsh and her extended family and dear friends. Predeceased by her sons-in-law Mike Stencell, Raymond Layman and by her sister Shirley McNabb. In honor of Louise’s wishes, cremation has taken place and private family services are to be held. HICKEY – It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth Jerome Hickey announces his passing after a brief illness, on Tuesday November 13, 2018. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Shirley, who was the love of his life along with his two children Sandra (Conrad) and John (Ivy). He also leaves behind his two beautiful granddaughters Catherine and Leah. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters, Joanne, Joyce (Wayne), along with his brothers and sisters-in-law Carl, Bill, Harold, Marie (Aden) and Grace (Paul) and mother-in-law Florence Steinacker. He was pre-deceased by his sister Janice. He enjoyed many things; among those being a cold beer, curling, chopping wood, a campsite by the beach, the Blue Jays, John Wayne, green velvet suits, The Eagles, old Cadillacs and above all, his family. He passed knowing that no one will be able to replicate his cabbage roll recipe and that the Leafs will win the cup this year. A memorial service in memory of Ken, will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2pm at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames St. S., Ingersoll, (519-425-1600). Dale, Mary– Mary Margaret Dale, 72, of Port Bruce passed away at her home on Friday, November 9th. She was born in Ingersoll on August 6, 1946 a daughter of the late Harry C. Dale and Margaret H. (McCarty) Dale. Mary was predeceased by her siblings John H. Dale and Anne E. Dale.
Mary is survived by her siblings, Peter (Iris) Dale, David Dale, Joan (Fred) Kimberley, Donald Dale, and Ruth Knight. Mary was a beloved aunt to Sandra Dale, Paul (Lisa) Dale, Kirk (Tara) Dale, Teresa (Kevin)Riese, Chris (Lei-Ley) Kimberley, Jason (Morgan) Bissell, Jasmine (Demetrius) Knight, Brittany McKiel, Robert McKiel, James (Katrina) McKiel, Tara (Darren) Baskerville, Alexis Dale, Kal-Leigh Dale, Leah Dale, Benjamin Riese, Charlotte Riese, Lucas Bissell, Sadie Bissell, Ashley Young and Kristen Young.
Mary was a long-time employee of Community Living Tillsonburg and a long-time volunteer with Girl Guides and Big Sisters. Many children benefited from her passion and guidance.
Friends will be received at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home on Monday, November 19th, 2018 from noon to 1:00pm with a Memorial Service at 1:00pm. If desired Memorial Donations may be made to the Tillsonburg Community Living – Children Services or a charity of your choice.
